East Cleveland Bells are a marching band that was established in 1993 by a small group of parents who's children had previously been in marching bands.

********

Over the past 17 years we were a junior band and are proud members of the Cleveland & District Federation.

********

We now train as a divison 2 band which sees the bands age range from 5 - 34

********

The band has gone from strength to strength since 1993 and we now have over 35 marching members in the band to date plus a strong following of supporters from the local community.

********

We are a Marching Display and Parade Band that provides an interesting and healthy hobby for people age 5 upover. We are always on the look out for new recruits.

********

East Cleveland Bells are a non-profit making youth organisation, consisting of young people from the Cleveland Area. The group is a charity run organization, where funding and running cost of the band have to be raised by various fundraising activities and sometimes public donations.

********

East Cleveland Bells practice at Lingdale Village Hall. Anyone wishing to join should attend the Wednesday night practice to meet with the committee.

Practice starts at 6.00-8.30. April to October

Novemeber to March 2.00-6.00 Sundays

********

Throughout the winter months October to April the trainers as well as the marching members of the band co-ordinate a new display for the new season commencing in the Following May – September.

By the end of March we start to put the finishing touches to the display making sure everything is correct and in order.

Then all that is left to do is Practice Practice Practice until the first carnival of the year.

Throughout the summer months we perfect the display to make sure that is ready for the finals in September.
