Amy is our main trainer and she has been with the band from the very start. Amy first
started with the Jazz band in 1991 when she was a member of Saltburn Masqueraders. Amy Started at the back of the band
on shield but was moved to the flag within a few weeks. After the flag she went on to the baton but wasnt on that for
long as she wanted to carry the banner, she was also reserve Mascot. Towards the end of 1992 Amy decided to
leave Saltburn.
At the beginning of 1993 Amy's mam and a few parents who kids had been in Jazz Band
decided to set up another band in Lingdale. Competitions were held for jobs in the band and Amy won Mascot. Amy
retired of the mascot and was placed in the kazoo section, but was soon shot off it and told never
to play a kazoo again. She then swapped between the Glock and Band Major, she first did Drum Major at the age
of 11. She stayed on Drum Major for a few more years, then started to swap and change between the mace, tipper and glock.
She started her retiring year on the Tri Toms, then moved to the Base Drum. She finished her retiring year on the
glock in 2003.
Amy had 2 retirements one with her own band East Cleveland Bells and one on
the Holiday with Royal Sapphires. Amy marched out with the Sapphires on the tipper, for the holiday and Royal
Sapphires came overall band of the day.
Amy then asked to stay with the band and help out with the training of them alongside
Michael, she has made a valuable contribution to the training team and the bands success.

Jaime started her band life in Skelton Skylarks age 9 where she was on the Banner, unfortunately this band
folded not long after setting up.
Jamie was then a member of Lockward Lions which were based in Lingdale, they didnt compete in any federation
but attended private carnivals around the lingdale area. Sadley these too folded. Which is where ECB began.
Jamie joined ECB aged 15 in 1993, she was originally on Band Major but was moved to Drum Major in her
first year. She retired on Drum Major but was know as a bob a job as she would fill in for anybody who was off mainly
on Glock and Kazoo.
After retiring she helped with the training of ECB for a while.
She returned to ECB with her daughter Shay in 2006. Jaime supported ECB at carnival for the next two
seasons and started training our tagalong section at the start of the 2008 season.
